Mediverse provides a healthcare ecosystem platform including:

  • Practice management software (Meta Health Zero)
  • AI-powered healthcare tools
  • Professional services (registration, accounting, compliance)
  • Equipment and supply procurement
  • Website development and digital transformation services

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Healthcare Professional Requirements

Certain services are available only to registered healthcare professionals. By using these services, you represent that you:

  • Hold valid registration with the HPCSA or relevant professional body
  • Maintain all required licenses and certifications
  • Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations
  • Will use our services only for lawful purposes

5. Subscription and Payment

For subscription-based services:

  • Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with our systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services
  • Use our services to harm patients or healthcare delivery

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services are owned by Mediverse and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into our systems. We will not access, use, or share your data except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Upon termination, you may request export of your data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Our AI tools provide suggestions only and should not replace professional medical judgment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mediverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mediverse, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of our services and may request export of your data.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, Gauteng Division.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
